The wide receiver was a mainstay earlier this decade for Bowling Green High School. He set every single-game, single-season and career receiving record at the school, helped the Purples to three state titles and was named 2013 Kentucky Mr. Football.
Fant then came to hometown Western Kentucky and saw playing time right away as a true freshman in 2014. Even in a program stacked with wideouts, he found a way over the last two seasons to become a key weapon both on offense and in the return game.
But Fant’s 2016 season ended prematurely because of a knee injury.
