The Western Kentucky men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams captured six events last weekend at the Vanderbilt Invitational in Nashville.
Emmanuel Dasor recorded first-place finishes in the 200- and 400-meter dash. Dasor tied a program record in the 200-meter event with a time of 21.07 seconds. The time also marked a Vanderbilt facility record. The Ghana native finished the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 47.32 seconds.
WKU finished 1-2-3 in the 200-meter dash as junior Ventavius Sears took second place behind Dasor with a time of 21.26 seconds. Sophomore Julius Morris placed third with a time of 21.
