The Western Kentucky softball team dropped a pair of games Sunday on the final day of the Holiday Inn Spring Fling at the WKU Softball Complex.
The Lady Toppers (7-6) fell 8-3 to Southeast Missouri State before dropping a 1-0 decision to Western Carolina.
SEMO used a four-run third inning, highlighted by a three-run home run, to break a 1-1 tie. The RedHawks went on to add runs in the fourth and seventh innings.
Lexi Norfleet and Carleigh Chaumont each went 2-for-3 and drove in a run for WKU. Brooke Holloway plated the third run with her team-leading third home run in the fifth inning.
