Western Kentucky's track and field team had a solid showing at the Pepsi Florida Relays competing against over 90 collegiate track programs, including seven ranked teams on both the men’s and women’s sides.
Walking away with the highest marks for WKU was Desmond Mobley, who finished third in the long jump with a distance of 7.57 meters. The WKU men’s 4x400-meter relay team improved its preliminary time by almost five seconds in the finals, clocking 3:07.10, good for fourth place. Kymari Gates, Austin Hayes, Will Bush and David Saruni ran the relay for the Hilltoppers.
Representing the Lady Toppers this weekend were Ariel Terrell and Morgan McIntyre.
