Western Kentucky’s 2017-18 basketball season is over, but spring recruiting season is just getting warmed up for the Hilltoppers.
WKU is one of three teams still battling for the services of St. John’s graduate transfer Tariq Owens, 247Sports/Fox Sports recruiting analyst Evan Daniels tweeted Wednesday.
Owens is a 6-foot-11, 205-pound forward who, as a graduate transfer, will be immediately eligible at his new school.
Owens started 26 of 33 games for St. John’s this season, averaging 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He also blocked 94 shots as a redshirt junior for the Red Storm.
