WKU recruits excited by team's 'phenomenal' 2015 run

Jeff Brohm standing by his program did a lot to make Western Kentucky's 2016 commits feel comfortable.

The Hilltoppers' success on the field didn't hurt, either.

"It was fun," said Roger Cray, a two-star cornerback from Columbia (Fla.) High School. "The offense is really exciting, and the defense stepped up, too. It was fun to watch. They're an exciting team to watch."

WKU ran the table in Conference USA play – in mostly dominant fashion – and won its second straight bowl game with a comeback victory against South Florida.

All those results helped the Tops break into the top 25, which carries some weight with potential prospects.
