Western Kentucky receivers/special teams coach JaMarcus Shephard is leaving the program for a position at Washington State, WKU confirmed Monday.
Sports Illustrated reported Monday that Shephard will coach inside receivers at Washington State.
Shephard is the third offensive coach to leave WKU's staff this offseason. Offensive coordinator Tyson Helton and offensive line coach Neil Callaway accepted positions at Southern California this month.
WKU hasn't filled any of those positions yet, and coach Jeff Brohm told the Daily News this month he tends to be "pretty patient on stuff like this."
"The last thing I want to do is move too quick," Brohm said.
