BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Junior Tashia Brown led all scorers with 19 points and C-USA Player of the Year candidate Kendall Noble recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals as WKU claimed a 67-58 victory over Louisiana Tech inside E.A. Diddle Arena on Thursday evening.
Despite shooting just 36.1 percent (22-of-61) from the field on the night, the Lady Toppers (16-6, 8-2 C-USA) were able to hold off the Lady Techsters (10-11, 5-5 C-USA) down the stretch after building an 11-point lead late in the fourth quarter.
Ivy Brown joined Tashia Brown and Noble in double figures with 13 points and also added eight rebounds on the evening.
