After running a school-record 3:04.24 mark to earn a spot at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Western Kentucky’s men’s 4x400-meter relay squad brought home second-team All-American honors Saturday night in Birmingham, Ala.
“We are proud to have earned a spot in one of the most prestigious races in the sport of track and field,” WKU coach Erik Jenkins said in a news release. “The NCAA Indoor Championships is one of the toughest meets in the world. We ran hard today and gained valuable experience as we head into the outdoor season.”
