Ben Lawson says he and his Western Kentucky teammates are getting better each day. And he says the Hilltoppers’ game against Louisville on Saturday is a chance to show that improvement to the nation.
“I think this is our time,” Lawson, a junior forward, said Wednesday after WKU’s 79-70 win against Alabama A&M. “We’ve had a shaky start, but I feel like everybody’s starting to see a change in us.
“We’re feeling the change. I think this is just the first of many games where we’re going to show who we are.”
