Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Ray Harper struggled for new thoughts about a familiar problem Thursday night.
The Hilltoppers (12-14 overall, 4-9 Conference USA) again led with less than three minutes to play at home against Old Dominion.
Once again, victory escaped them. The Monarchs (15-11, 8-5) scored the game's final seven points, snatching a 59-56 win in front of 3,182 fans at E.A. Diddle Arena.
"When it gets winning time, you have to execute, and you have to do certain things," Harper said.
The loss was WKU's third straight overall and third straight at home.
