WKU has become the latest school to implement a clear bag policy for home football games, as the school announced Tuesday that it would implement the safety measure in Houchens-Smith Stadium for the upcoming season.
The new policy will limit baggage items allowed into the stadium. On the approved list are clear tote bags that aren't larger than 12" x 6" x 12", plastic zip-top bags no larger than one gallon, clutch purses no larger than 4.5 inches-by-6.5 inches, and seat cushions without pockets no larger than 16 inches.
Here are the prohibited items on the revised policy:
- Briefcases
- Camera bags
- Backpacks
- Drawstring bags
- Fanny packs
- Mesh bags
- Duffel bags
- Oversized totes
- Tinted or textured bags
- Purses
- Diaper bags
- Printed pattern plastic bags
- Reusable grocery tote bags
The Hilltopper football program isn't the first to implement this policy.
