BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - After locking up the No. 1 seed in next week’s C-USA Tournament with a 75-55 win at North Texas on Thursday evening, WKU will seek to claim the outright C-USA regular season championship on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on the road at Rice. The title would be WKU’s second outright championship in three seasons as a member of the league.
The Lady Toppers lead the all-time series against the Owls, 2-0, and have won each meeting since joining C-USA. Last season inside E.A. Diddle Arena, WKU survived a buzzer-beating three-pointer that was off the mark in a 52-49 win.
