Powered by a season-high 33 points from Tashia Brown, the Lady Toppers used an explosive fourth quarter to pull away from Marshall in an 86-66 win Sunday afternoon in Huntington, W.Va.
WKU (14-5 overall, 5-1 Conference USA) used an 18-5 run to open the fourth quarter to pull away after Marshall (6-12, 0-5) cut the deficit to within four points late in the third quarter.
Brown reached 33 points on 10-of-19 shooting with a 12-for-13 mark from the free-throw line.
