DENTON, Texas — Western Kentucky breathed a sigh of relief with its first road win of the season Saturday.

The Hilltoppers (10-8 overall, 2-3 Conference USA) have two more road tests this week, but now they at least have a little momentum.
"I think we can start our winning streak right now," junior guard Fredrick Edmond said after Saturday's 81-76 win at North Texas. "It starts today."
WKU was 0-5 in true road games this season before Saturday's win over the Mean Green.
The Tops are on a stretch of six of eight games away from E.
