WKU coaches Wallace, Brumfield on the move

The Western Kentucky football program has lost yet another offensive staffer, as well as its first defensive assistant.

Tight ends coach/graduate assistant Ryan Wallace and cornerbacks/special teams coach Ricky Brumfield are on the move in what has become a busy month for WKU coaching turnover.

Wallace will coach tight ends and tackles at Tennessee Tech in his first official assistant job. Brumfield will assume his same role at Conference USA foe UTSA under new coach Frank Wilson, multiple sources told the Daily News.

Wallace is the fourth offensive staffer to leave this offseason, although unlike the others, he's completing his third year as a grad assistant and moving into a full-time position.
