January was a long month on the recruiting trail for the Western Kentucky football coaches.
Jeff Brohm and his assistants logged many hours and miles through significant staff turnover, and it paid off with few defections in the 2016 class.
"I don't think we had a huge problem with that," Brohm said Wednesday on National Signing Day. "I think all of our guys were committed for the right reasons. Yes, we had some coaches leave, but the whole offensive structure and defensive structure, they understand is going to be the same. The head coach is going to be the same, which is important as well.
