No. 25 Western Kentucky put the finishing touches on a spectacular season Monday – the type of season the program's supporters hoped could be possible with all the right pieces in place.
But less than an hour after the Hilltoppers hoisted the Miami Beach Bowl trophy, coach Jeff Brohm was asked what's next.
"I'm one of those guys that doesn't think too far down the road," Brohm said after WKU's 45-35 bowl victory over South Florida at Marlins Park. "We set out our goals for this year, and I'm definitely happy that we've achieved it."
WKU wanted to win its first Conference USA championship.
