MIAMI, Fla. — In the 2017 season finale, WKU Baseball lost to FIU by a score of 11-2 on Saturday afternoon. Ben Morrison fired a scoreless of relief in the eighth inning, while Chris Rogers and Colie Currie both wrapped their campaigns with seven-game hit streaks.
The Panthers got two across in each of the first two innings against starter Paul Kirkpatrick to take a 4-0 lead.
In the top of the third, the Hilltoppers struck for a run when Currie doubled and scored on a two-out single by Hunter Wood.
