First-year Western Kentucky baseball coach John Pawlowski was arrested Friday and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Pawlowski, 52, was booked at 11:38 p.m. Friday in Warren County Regional Jail and released at 5:55 a.m. Saturday.
He was released on a $500 bond. A court date has not been set, according to the jail's online records.
"We are aware of the situation and are gathering more information," WKU said in a statement Monday.
