With no postseason play, WKU on hunt for final pieces of next season's roster

With a policy to only participate in the NCAA Tournament or NIT, the Western Kentucky men's basketball team has begun bringing together next year's squad.

In multiple radio interviews Monday, coach Ray Harper said he's looking for a "couple more" pieces to add to a 2016-17 team with plans to be near the top of Conference USA.

"I hope at the very top," Harper said on his final weekly radio show. "I really like the talent that we have. I love (Tennessee transfers Willie Carmichael and Jabari McGhee) and what they bring. We still need to add definitely two more pieces.
