OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – For the second consecutive season, WKU volleyball’s sophomore duo of Alyssa Cavanaugh and Jessica Lucas was named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-Americans on Wednesday.
After earning AVCA All-South Region awards earlier this month, Cavanaugh and Lucas give the WKU program 15 AVCA All-America selections since 2005. Senior Noelle Langenkamp also received AVCA All-South Region honors.
Along with the AVCA honors, Cavanaugh and Lucas completed stellar sophomore campaigns on The Hill, as both were named to Conference USA’s First-Team All-Conference for the second consecutive year.
