FORT MYERS, Fla. - WKU women's golf claimed its best finish in a conference tournament since 1997 on Wednesday afternoon at the Verandah Club, tying for fourth overall in the 2016 C-USA Championship with a score of 43-over 907 (305-304-298).
WKU's score of 907 also ranks as the Lady Toppers' second-best conference championship tally in program history, topped only by last year's 890 in the team's first C-USA campaign. In addition, senior Ellinor Haag became the program's top finisher in a conference championship since Crystal Anglea finished fifth in the 2000 Sun Belt Championship.
