KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - WKU women’s golf battled through the second round at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic on Monday with a 22-over 310, bringing the Lady Toppers’ two-round tally to 37-over 613 as the team sits in sole possession of 16th place.
Only one team finished fewer than 10 strokes over par on Monday as Delaware fired a nine-over 297 for the low round of the day. Coastal Carolina and host College of Charleston sit tied atop the team leaderboard with identical scores of 589, 13-over par. Among the four C-USA teams competing, WKU sits second, trailing only Old Dominion’s tally of an 18-over 599 that has the Lady Monarchs in fifth place.
