KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - WKU women's golf rounded out the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Challenge with an 11-over 299, the team's best round of the tournament, to finish in a tie for 14th place on Tuesday afternoon.
For the tournament, the Lady Toppers finished at 48-over 912 (303-310-299) to tie with Charleston Southern for 14th overall. Coastal Carolina and Chattanooga each fired under-par rounds to take home the top two spots; the Chanticleers claimed the team title with a seven-over 871 while Chattanooga placed second after shooting a 15-over 879.
Individually, Georgina Blackman bounced back from an 81 in the second round on Monday to fire a one-over 73 in the final round of play.
