BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU opened its second season in Conference USA with an 81-52 victory over Marshall inside E.A. Diddle Arena on Saturday afternoon, getting double-figure scoring efforts from five different players in the balanced effort.
Five Lady Toppers reached double figures for WKU (10-2, 1-0 C-USA), its most in a single game this season. Tashia Brown led the way with 21 points, her sixth 20-point outing of the year, and Dee Givens tallied a career-best 18 points off the bench.
Ivy Brown notched her sixth double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds, Kendall Noble poured in 11 points and Kayla Smith rounded out the quintet with 10 points of her own.
