BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - WKU is set to open the 2016 C-USA Women's Basketball Tournament on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. (CT) against either Marshall or FIU after earning a double bye into the event's quarterfinals as one of the top four seeds.
The Lady Toppers carry a four-game winning streak into the tournament and defeated both Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech on the road during the final week of the regular season. WKU will be seeking to win its third consecutive conference tournament championship after capturing the 2014 Sun Belt and 2015 C-USA crowns.
