BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WKU Track and Field standout Emmanuel Dasor highlighted WKU’s first day of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday evening as the junior qualified for the 400 meter final.
Dasor finished third in his heat and notched the eighth and final qualifying spot with a time of 46.60 seconds. Florida’s Najee Glass took the top spot with a run of 46.31 seconds.
The Ghana native also ran in the 200 meter preliminaries but failed to advance to Saturday’s finals after finishing with a time of 21.23 seconds. Tennessee’s Christian Coleman captured the top qualifying spot with a run of 20.
