Western Kentucky's Billy Tom Sargent hit his stride in Sunday’s final round of Florida State’s Seminole Intercollegiate with a season-low 67 in Tallahassee, Fla.

The redshirt junior’s 5-under 67 was the lowest round of the day at the par-72, 6,965-yard Golden Eagle Country Club, as well as the second-lowest single-round score of the entire tournament.

Sargent improved drastically across each round and finished tied for 26th with a 218 (78-73-67) total. Sunday’s finale was two shots off his career low and was his sixth round of 69 or better this season.

WKU finished 13th as a team with a 904 (296-302-306) tally.
