Sunday’s final round of Purdue’s Boilermaker Invitational was canceled due to steady rainfall overnight and unplayable course conditions.
Western Kentucky finished in 15th place in the shortened event with a two-round total of 598 (301-297). There were nine teams ranked in the GolfStat Top 100 competing in the event.
Redshirt junior Billy Tom Sargent led WKU with a total of 147 (76-70), tying for 20th at the par-72, 7,465-yard Kampen Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Hilltoppers will next compete in the Conference USA Championship, which takes place April 22-25 in Texarkana, Ark.
