Taywan Taylor has done things this season that entire Western Kentucky teams couldn't accomplish.
The Hilltoppers have had playmaking receivers before, but the program's history with the position is limited.
No. 25 WKU (11-2) is breaking free from that tradition in a major way.
"That's one of the big things that the coaches talk about – opening it up and making this program look better for future recruits … ," said Taylor, a junior Louisville native. "We just want to progress and keep improving, and that's going to bring in more and more athletes at every position, not just the receiver position.
