Austin AnthonyWestern Kentucky center Charles Bassey continued his tear through league play last week, earning his sixth Conference USA Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week award Monday.
It’s the second straight weekly freshman honor for the 6-foot-11, 245-pound native of Lagos, Nigeria.
Bassey averaged a dominant 19.5 points and 15 rebounds across two victories over Texas-San Antonio and Texas-El Paso last week.
