In most cases, the Western Kentucky coach knows he’s courting a prospect based not on what he currently is, but on what potential lies ahead.
Stansbury’s program added three signees between Wednesday and Sunday: forward Isaiah Cozart (Madison Central High School, Richmond), guard Jackson Harlan (Clinton County HS, Albany) and center Nick Ongenda (Southwest Christian Academy, Little Rock, Ark.)
Ongenda is a four-star prospect, originally from South Africa, who is reclassifying from the Class of 2020 into the Class of 2019.
Cozart is a three-star signee set to become the all-time blocked shots leader in Kentucky high school basketball history.
