Rick Stansbury has spent his first 13-plus months at Western Kentucky recruiting around the clock. The Hilltoppers’ coach isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Stansbury said Tuesday night he’s still looking to add pieces to a highly touted WKU signing class. He spoke at an event at Indian Hills Country Club before leaving to get dinner with a recruit in town on a visit.
Stansbury’s 2017-18 roster is already set to include 11 newcomers who weren’t officially part of the program in 2016-17. The coach hopes to add a couple of experienced college basketball players to that group thanks to the graduate transfer rule.
