STARKVILLE, Miss. – WKU softball dropped a pair of one-run heartbreakers Friday on the opening day of Mississippi State’s Bulldog Slamboree. The Lady Toppers’ started their 10-game road swing by dropping identical, 3-2, contests to Central Arkansas and Chattanooga at MSU’s Nusz Park.

WKU’s rally fell short Friday morning in the opening game of the Bulldog Slamboree as the Lady Toppers were edged by Central Arkansas (12-6).
An RBI single from Carleigh Chaumont put the Lady Toppers on the scoreboard first in the top of the first inning.
