BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU softball dropped a pair of contests Sunday afternoon on the final day of the Holiday Inn Spring Fling as the Lady Toppers succumbed to Southeast Missouri State, 8-3, before dropping a close, 1-0 decision to Western Carolina.
GAME 1: SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE 8, WKU 3
Southeast Missouri State used a four-run third inning, highlighted by a three-shot blast to center field, in order to break a 1-1 tie. The RedHawks went on to add runs in the fourth and seventh innings as Southeast ran away for the 8-3 victory.
