BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU softball freshman Kelsey McGuffin’s walk-off home run in the ninth inning of the doubleheader nightcap with Middle Tennessee Saturday helped the Lady Toppers earn a split with the Blue Raiders on the day.
Middle Tennessee (20-18, 5-6 C-USA) used a come-from-behind performance to prevail in eight innings in the first game of the Conference USA doubleheader at the WKU Softball Complex.

WKU notched runs in its first three innings as the Lady Toppers used solo homers from Kelsey McGuffin and Brooke Holloway as well as an RBI single from Taylor Proctor in order to jump out to a 3-0 advantage through six innings of play.
