BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Western Kentucky men's basketball team's postseason dreams ended Friday in the Conference USA Tournament semifinals.
But the Hilltoppers weren't eliminated before redshirt senior forward Nigel Snipes dragged every last bit of potential out of his final run.
Snipes wrapped up a stellar week in the C-USA Tournament with a career day, but it wasn't enough to keep WKU and its three seniors from avoiding an 89-77 loss to Old Dominion at Legacy Arena.
"I have no regrets," Snipes said. "I felt like I played as hard as I could and did everything I possibly could.
