With only six scholarship players available, the Hilltoppers outscored the Bulldogs 45-32 over the second half and pulled away for a 78-64 win in an exhibition matchup at Pete Hanna Center.
Freshman guard Taveion Hollingsworth scored a game-best 19 points to pace WKU on Sunday. Justin Johnson (15 points, 10 rebounds), Jake Ohmer (12 points, four assists), Darius Thompson (11 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds) and Dwight Coleby (10 points, 15 rebounds) also played key roles in the victory.
