Hsu moved this offseason from New Mexico State to New Mexico, following former Aggies and current Lobos coach Paul Weir.

Hsu has also served full-time assistant coaching stints at Binghamton, Texas Southern and CSU Bakersfield.

The reported offer to Hsu comes at a time of turnover on the Hilltopper coaching staff.

Shammond Williams resigned last week, the school confirmed, while HoopDirt.com reported fellow WKU assistant Chris Cheeks is also done with the Toppers. The program hasn’t confirmed Cheeks’ departure.

Johnson has spent time on staffs at Murray State, Duquesne, Tennessee State, New Orleans, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette.
