WKU senior punter Jake Collins is transferring to Northwestern for his final season of eligibility, he confirmed with the College Heights Herald on Thursday.
Collns played in 13 games in his redshirt junior year. He attempted 57 punts for a total of 2,290 yards, an average of 40.2 yards per punt. He had a longest punt of 62 yards for his career. In his three years of active play, Collins totaled 5,498 punt yards.
"I feel fortunate to be where I am and thank God, my family, and the Hilltopper fans for your support," Collins said in a statement on Twitter.
