It was just Monday that Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Ray Harper appeared on his final weekly radio show of the season, lauding the potential of next year's team.
Oh, what can change in a week.
Harper resigned Thursday following the suspension of three Hilltopper guards – Fredrick Edmond, Chris McNeal and Marlon Hunter – after the outcome of a University Disciplinary Committee hearing Wednesday night.
There's been little additional news in the process since it broke Thursday evening, with Harper, the players, WKU administration and others involved either declining comment or sticking by their brief statements from the initial announcement.
