Former Western Kentucky quarterback Brandon Doughty is still kind of stunned by how well the 2015 season went in Bowling Green.
"Last year was crazy, because we met every goal that we set out to do," Doughty said Thursday in a phone interview with the Daily News. "I don't think I've ever done that. You set your goals really high and expect to come close to them, but we hit every single goal that we set out to do."
But Doughty is done chasing his dreams with the Hilltoppers.
He's moved on to new professional aspirations as he prepares for April's NFL Draft, and he'll compete next week in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
