Western Kentucky moved closer to rounding out its 2016 signing class Thursday with a verbal commitment from Jahcour Pearson, a two-star receiver from Flanagan (Fla.) High School.
Pearson – a 5-foot-8, 176-pound prospect – chose the Hilltoppers over Northern Illinois on Thursday. He'll take an official visit to WKU this weekend.
"I chose WKU because I can see myself having success in the offense, and I can see myself graduating from there," Pearson said.
WKU has 21 members in its 2016 class, including four who have already signed – junior college defensive tackle Chris Johnson and high school early enrollees Quinton Baker, Drew O'Bryan and Dee Cain.
