“We’re a 3-point shooting team,” the Middle Tennessee coach said Saturday. “We believe in it.”
The Blue Raiders’ perimeter shooting was one of the keys to their 83-75 win against Western Kentucky at the Murphy Center.
MTSU (13-7 overall, 7-2 Conference USA) hit 11 of 24 shots from beyond the arc, including an 8-of-12 mark in the first half. Brea Edwards (29 points) hit 5 of those 3-pointers, while fellow guard Abbey Sissom (16 points) knocked down another four.
WKU coach Michelle Clark-Heard called the Blue Raiders’ success from the perimeter a “huge” difference in the game.
