Western Kentucky’s Dayvion McKnight was named Conference USA Player of the Week for his dominant performances across WKU’s last three victories, the league announced Monday.
Over the three games, McKnight averaged 23.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He shot 59% from the field during the week and made 17-of-20 free throws while playing 116 of 120 possible minutes.
The Shelbyville native started the week with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a Monday night road win at Southern Miss.
McKnight then followed with 22 points in Thursday’s victory over Charlotte, going 7-for-7 from the field in the first half.
