LELAND, N.C. - Through two rounds at the Cape Fear National Intercollegiate, WKU men's golf sits in fourth place on the team leaderboard and Trey Aguirre leads the Hilltopper card at two-over 146 to tie for 11th after Sunday's action.
WKU posted a 31-over 607 (296-311) in the first two rounds and was one of only four teams in the 13-team field to post a sub-300 round on the afternoon. Duke, ranked 20th by Golfstat, leads the field at eight-under 568, while UNCW is second after shooting six-over 582 on Sunday.
Senior Trey Aguirre tallied the low round of the day for WKU with his even-par 72 in the second round.
