CHANDLER, Ariz. - Stuart Easton and Austin King each recorded career-low rounds on the opening day of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Whirlwind Golf Club as WKU sits fourth overall with a season-best 36-hole score of five-under 571 (286-285).
The Hilltoppers' second-round 285 was the team's second-best round of the 2015-16, trailing only an opening-round 283 at the Bash at the Beach in early March. Sam Houston State leads in the team standings with an 18-under 558 (280-278) through two rounds.
Easton leads the WKU card after the first day with a four-under 140 (71-69), both of which were his lowest rounds of the season.
