BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU takes a break from a difficult road stretch at the start of Conference USA play for two home games this week, beginning Thursday night at 7:00 (CT) against FIU.
Thursday’s game features two of the nation’s best shot-blockers in FIU’s Adrian Diaz, who leads the nation with 3.7 blocks per game, and WKU’s Ben Lawson, who ranks ninth in the nation with 2.9 swats per contest.
WKU leads the all-time series between the two schools 32-6, dating back to 1999 when both were members of the Sun Belt Conference, and has won 12 of the last 14 matchups and holds a 15-2 advantage in games played in Bowling Green.
