BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU plays the first game in a two-week, 3,400-mile road trip Thursday night at 8:00 (CT) at Rice.
The Hilltoppers picked up their first win in Conference USA action Saturday afternoon against Florida Atlantic, 86-82 in overtime, and will be on the road for the next four games with trips to Texas and the east coast. WKU is looking for its first road victory in its last five tries, dating back to an 88-84 overtime victory at Charlotte on March 5, 2015.
Rice, who finished 12-20 overall and 8-10 and tied for seventh in league action last year, features C-USA’s leading scorer in Marcus Evans at 19.
